This is an open meeting of alcoholics anonymous and all are welcome here, especially newcomers.
We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

AA PREAMBLE

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience; strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. Is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Tradition 7

Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. aaHomeGroup is seeking 7th tradition contributions as we are in need of funds to support our basic expenses including zoom operational costs, web hosting and Big Book program. Safety

Here at aaHomeGroup we take the safety of our meetings and platform seriously. In addition to being guided by the traditions, this group follows zoom community standards and AA safety guidelines. If you have a safety concern about something in the meeting or questions about safety. Please reach out to a host or cohost or email security@aahomegroup.org. As always, anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all of our traditions, so who you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here.

GRIEVANCE/CONCERNS

In aaHomeGroup, a Grievance is a formal process for addressing concerns or complaints that members may have about the fellowship, its leadership, or its operations. Grievances help ensure that minority voices and individual experiences are heard with respect. If you have a grievance/concern you can send an email to concerns@aahomegroup.org.

Service

VOLUNTEER SERVICE MEMBERS NEEDED on HOSTS & SAFETY—especially Midnight–3am and many daytime slots.

• 60 days sobriety = join the service team.
• 90 days = serve as a Chair.
   Next Night-time Training for Service is Tuesday August 25th 8:00 PM US/Eastern Time.
   Next Day-time Training for Service is Sunday August 30th 2:00 PM US/Eastern Time.
